Fundraising
Last Updated: February 28, 2022

Summary

Named in honor of the first known African American woman and man to graduate from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, the Raimey-Noland campaign provides opportunities for alumni, friends, community leaders, athletics fans, corporations, and foundations to rally around the university’s most critical needs for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

This university-wide ‘sub-campaign’ under the framework of All Ways Forward will focus on five goals:

  1. Increase the diversity of the student body
  2. Increase faculty and staff diversity
  3. Enhance students’ academic success and career readiness
  4. Support an inclusive, welcoming campus community for individuals from every background
  5. Invest in research addressing social and racial injustice

Each unit is responsible for soliciting gifts to their particular funds. WFAA will have a central communications strategy to raise awareness about the campaign that will include unit priorities that fall within its pillars. The Annual Giving team will be leading efforts for the Raimey-Noland Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Day of the Badger campaign.

To make sure your fund is included/tagged correctly for this campaign please look up your fund in the Gift and Fund Management site and make sure it has the RNF Raimey-Noland Fund attribute. If not, please submit a help desk ticket to the attention of Fund Administration.
